Ms. Costanza Galastri is a Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP), emergency preparedness, and incident response planning professional with more than 12 years of experience in supporting organizational resilience initiatives. She recently supported COOP Planning at the General Services Administration and has served as the primary COOP and Emergency Management Subject Matter Expert for the Department of Health and Human Services’ Administration for Children and Families since 2017. She also served as the Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Preparedness Team Lead for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) BioWatch Program, coordinating preparedness activities in over 30 BioWatch jurisdictions. Ms. Galastri has authored over 100 FEMA Lessons Learned Information Sharing (LLIS.gov) documents and after-action reports on exercises and real-world incidents. She holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies and International Economics from John Hopkins University, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, from the Università Degli Studi Di Firenze, in Florence, Italy.
